If you died today, where would you spend eternity?
If you died today, where would you spend eternity?
I grew up not believing in anything. My father was an atheist and my mother was a Catholic. Through high school, the NAVY, and college I had become an atheist because if I didn't see it, I didn't believe in it.
Then at 32 years old, I met an Christian Police Officer who witnessed to me what God had done in his life. This was coupled with attending a meeting with NYPD officers whom all were Christians. It shook my world but as time went on I opened my heart to ask, "God, if you are real, show me." And he did through the actions of the people that was around me. September 19, 1982, I went to the altar and gave my life to Jesus Christ asking him to run my life and to give me wisdom for the things I would encounter in life.

The Bible says that God sent his son, Jesus, here to be the sacrifice for your sins and my sins. Everyone sins. God says that if you accept that fact that Jesus died for you and me, you and I will spend eternity in heaven. God gave you that choice. He will not force anyone to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord. But like anything else, there are consequences to our actions and lack of actions. I was an atheist and it took a lot for me to make that step, but I did! I'm asking you to do the same.
1. Admit that you sin. We all do. 2. Accept the fact that Jesus died for you. 3. Ask him to run your life. 4. Go to a Bible believing church, a church that follows the entire Bible.
